he Project Manager has overall leadership responsibility for the planning and delivery of moderately complex internal, product development, and client projects.

This position requires a high level of leadership, planning, communication skills and problem solving skills. The Project Manager is responsible for ongoing productive client / stakeholder relationships and providing the leadership and discipline to achieve the combined client / stakeholder and objectives.

This position is responsible for project schedule and completion, client relationship management, allocation of resources, financial management and consulting with stakeholder on issue resolution.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree (or higher) -OR- 4+ years professional work experience
  • 3+ years experience with the following :
  • Leading information and business systems projects
  • Developing project management methodologies
  • Leading complex projects / programs
  • IS application integration or infrastructure
  • Project Management (MPM, PMP etc.) and / or ITIL Certification preferred
  • Knowledge of :
  • Project Management methodologies including Waterfall, Agile and Lean, as well as frameworks including Scrum and Kanban
  • Various project management tools to develop a comprehensive project work plan such as Work Breakdown Structure (WBS), Organizational Breakdown Structure (OBS), cash flow analysis, Gantt and network diagrams, and resource schedules; and
  • Techniques such as the Critical Path Method to assess and report on risks in project schedule; knowledge of corrective action steps to reduce risks and mitigate problems
  • Proven ability to :
  • lead and facilitate tough discussions and develop and present professional presentations with management and customers
  • effectively communicate and build strong business relationships with all levels inside and outside the organization; and
  • effectively create an effective team environment, negotiate, solve problems and conflicts, and manage resources
  • Strong financial, management, and organization development skills
  • Excellent customer service skills, with ability to work in a team environment and rapidly changing environment
