About The Position
Pioneer Healthcare Services is seeking a Physical Therapist for a school district in the San Diego, CA area for the 2024 - 2025 school year.
The ideal Therapist will have a minimum of 1 year experience in the pediatric population. New grads are encouraged to apply.
This can be a travel or a local assignment.
Responsibilities of a School Physical Therapist :
- Identifying strengths and weaknesses of referred exceptional education students
- Designing the physical therapy program so that it is consistent with the total educational philosophy of the district
- Using appropriate assessment instruments pertinent to areas of therapy
- Participating in the in-school staffing and screening processes as appropriate
- Providing parents with suggestions for home techniques
- Completing progress reports on each student in the program
- New grads and experienced therapists are encouraged to apply - We will support you through this transition
- Grade level Pre K - High School
- 2024 - 2025 school year
- Documentation is completed in a timely, complete, legible, concise and accurate manner
