  • Execute Strategy : Collaborate with sales leadership to implement go-to-market plans, set targets, and manage budgets.
  • Lead Sales Efforts : Build and nurture client relationships through meetings, calls, emails, and sales presentations to exceed regional sales targets.
  • Secure Accounts : Develop new business opportunities and establish long-term agreements with major clients.
  • Evolve Distribution Channels : Strengthen B2B relationships with wholesalers, resellers, and contractors to expand FLO's market presence.
  • Collaborate on Products : Partner with Product and Design teams to launch new products and enhance service models based on customer feedback and industry trends.
  • Generate Quotations Interpret customer requirements, identify appropriate FLO solution (in coordination with application engineering), generate sales quotations, and present to customer.
  • Manage Proposals : Oversee the preparation of proposals, tender documents, and business development tasks.
  • Handle Inquiries : Lead the response to inbound sales leads and ensure timely follow-ups and customer engagements.
  • Report Results : Deliver comprehensive sales reports and account updates to track progress and performance.
  • Maximize Opportunities : Conduct business reviews to uncover and capitalize on profit opportunities.
  • Deliver Excellence : Ensure outstanding customer experience from initial contact to order fulfillment.
  • Guide Funding : Advise customers on navigating Federal, State, and Municipal funding programs.
  • Enhance Marketing : Additionally, you'll have the exciting opportunity to participate in industry events and tradeshows, work closely with the Marketing team to optimize lead generation and qualification processes
  • Foster Innovation : Bring an entrepreneurial spirit to FLO’s collaborative, cross-functional environment.

ABOUT YOU

  • Proven success in business development within electric utilities or a similar sector.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering, or a related field;
  • Mastery of Microsoft Office, comfortable with CRM tools (Salesforce appreciated), with a technical and practical approach to sales tools.
  • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally, driving initiatives that benefit customers and the business.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events.
