Our client, a leading healthcare company, is seeking a Senior Manager of Privacy Operations to join their team. Reporting to the Director of Privacy Operations, the Senior Manager will play a key role in supporting the activities of the Privacy Operations function within the company's Privacy Office.
Responsibilities include drafting and reviewing privacy policies, managing the training program, overseeing privacy notices, and assisting with privacy risk assessments and audit readiness.
The ideal candidate will have several years of privacy experience, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work independently in a remote position.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Drafting and reviewing policies and procedures
- Overseeing the training and awareness program
- Managing the privacy notice program, including website privacy updates
- Supporting privacy risk assessments and ensuring audit readiness
- Assisting with the implementation of new privacy regulations
- Driving program and process improvements
- Contributing to the leadership of Privacy Operations projects
- Collaborating closely with Privacy attorneys to obtain and coordinate the legal guidance necessary to operationalize key initiatives and requirements
EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION
- Bachelor's degree is required, preferably in business, technology, or healthcare
- Several years of experience in privacy is essential
- Experience in developing or enhancing a privacy program is highly desirable
- CIPP or CIPM certification is preferred
- Experience in the healthcare sector is advantageous
- Legal experience or a J.D. is beneficial, though not mandatory
- Experience in compliance, auditing, or assessments is a plus
- Strong organizational and project management skills with a keen attention to detail
- Proficient in technology, including Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Critical thinking and decision-making skills, with the ability to identify issues that require escalation
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to deliver presentations and drive execution within a team environment

Expected salary for this role is $100,000 - $147,000, commensurate with experience, training, skills, qualifications, and other market factors.
