Job Description :
As the Director of Quality Assurance at Augmentjobs, you will lead and oversee the QA department to ensure the highest standards of product quality and performance.
You will be responsible for developing and implementing quality assurance strategies, processes, and procedures to drive continuous improvement and achieve business objectives.
Key Responsibilities :
Strategic Leadership : Develop and execute the overall quality assurance strategy aligned with the company's goals and objectives.
Team Management : Lead, mentor, and manage a team of QA professionals. Foster a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
Quality Standards : Establish and enforce quality standards, processes, and best practices across all products and services.
Process Improvement : Identify areas for process improvement and implement solutions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness within the QA function.
Testing and Validation : Oversee the planning, execution, and reporting of various testing activities, including functional, regression, performance, and user acceptance testing.
Compliance : Ensure that all products and services comply with industry standards, regulations, and internal policies.
Cross-Functional Collaboration : Work closely with product development, engineering, and other relevant teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of high-quality products.
Risk Management : Identify potential risks and implement mitigation strategies to minimize quality-related issues.
Reporting and Metrics : Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of the QA processes and provide regular reports to senior management.
Customer Focus : Address customer feedback and issues related to product quality and drive improvements based on customer insights.
Required Skills and Qualifications :
Education : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; Master's degree is a plus.
Experience : 7 to 12 years of experience in quality assurance or a related field, with at least 5 years in a leadership or management role.
Technical Expertise : Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes, including automated and manual testing.
Leadership Skills : Proven track record of leading and developing high-performing teams, with excellent mentoring and coaching abilities.
Analytical Skills : Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
Communication Skills : Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Project Management : Experience with project management and agile methodologies is desirable.
Attention to Detail : Strong attention to detail with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
Adaptability : Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, with a proactive approach to overcoming challenges.
