The HR manager will take the lead role in all of the following functional areas : associate relations, HR specific training, HR legal requirements and compliance, development and revision of HR policies and procedures, associate engagement survey action plan follow up, performance and merit increase monitoring, hiring non-exempt associates and managing data associated with bonus administration.
Key Responsibilities : Coordinates and conducts management training related to this area (i.e. : terminations, sexual harassment, and managing performance)Investigates and advises management in appropriate resolution of associate relations issuesContent expert regarding policies, procedures and programsCoordinates / conducts exit interviews to determine reasons behind separationsMay represent organization at personnel related hearings and investigationsSupports internal customer survey and associate satisfaction interpretation / feedback processAttends RVP / RDO meetings to increase HR transparencyAssists with training related to the areas of interviewing, selection and hiringAssists managers in developing and implementing recruitment plans to increase qualified applicant flowSupports Sector and provides direct assistance and support in critical marketsCoordinates and conducts new hire orientation and management trainingConducts HR Assessments / AuditsPreferred Qualifications : Bachelor's Degree preferred2-5 years multi-unit HR generalist and associate relations experience preferredExperience in a high customer contact settingPHR, SHRM-CP, SPHR, or SHRM-SCP desirableExperience in Employee Relations requiredPrevious Operations experience helpfulThorough knowledge of all housekeeping practices and proceduresStrong work ethic, intense drive and initiative for quality and customer serviceExcellent written and oral communication skillsProficient in the use of Windows based office software including but not limited to Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and OutlookExcellent administrative, organizational and problem solving skills and an ability to prioritize tasks at the same timeAbility to use a participative approach to managing staffAbility to function appropriately under stressful conditionsApply to Crothall todayCrothall is a member of Compass Group USAClick here to Learn More about the Compass StoryCompass Group is an equal opportunity employer.
