Job Title : School Psychologist
Location : Moraga, CA
Job Description : We are seeking a full-time School Psychologist to join our team in Moraga, CA. This position involves working with a middle school caseload of approximately 20 students, providing both counseling and assessments.
The successful candidate will work closely with students, teachers, and parents to support the academic, social, and emotional well-being of the students.
Educational Requirements :
- Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field from an accredited institution.
- Completion of a supervised internship in school psychology.
Responsibilities :
- Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations to identify students' needs.
- Provide counseling and mental health services to students.
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavioral intervention plans (BIPs).
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to create supportive learning environments.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss and plan for student needs.
- Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as necessary.
- Advocate for students educational and emotional needs.
- Stay current with research and best practices in the field of school psychology.
Certifications :
- State licensure or certification as a School Psychologist in California.
- National Certification in School Psychology (NCSP) is preferred but not required.
