Responsibilities
Peraton is looking for a Cloud Engineer to design, develop, and maintain cloud-based systems, ensuring efficient data storage and adherence to security policies.
Qualifications
Active Top Secret Security Clearance with ability to obtain SCI and poly.
Five (5) years of years of experience with the following :
- Python
- Ruby
- NET / C#
- HTML
- JavaScript
- PowerShell
- Cl / CD pipelines
- The ability to work with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, Lean Startup, XP)
- U) Minimum Education : Bachelor's degree in one of the following areas : Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer and Information Security, Computer Security, and / or Network Administration from an accredited university / college;
- or Master's Degree in Computer Science or related scientific / technical field. 5 years with BS / BA; 3 years with MS / MA;
0 years with PhD (Additional education, training, certifications, or work experience may be substituted in lieu of degree or work experience at the Government's discretion).
U) Minimum / General Experience : The Cloud Engineer shall have five (5) years of experience and a basic understanding of software development, engineering, programming languages, and tools;
Java, Python, Ruby, NET / C#, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PowerShell, Cl / CD pipelines, and ability to work with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, Lean Startup, XP).
The Cloud Engineer shall have experience crafting solutions for the server-side of scalable cloud software applications and platforms, skills to architect a highly distributed cloud system and respond to operational issues. T
The Cloud Engineer shall have experience with cloud migration, as well as experience with OpenStack, Linux, Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, DevOps, NoSQL, etc.
Preferred Experience : Red Hat Certified Systems Administrator or Red Hat Certified Engineer, Cisco Certified Network Professional or Cloud certifications such as Certified Cloud Security Professional or Cloud+.

Target Salary Range
$135,000 - $216,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
