Position : Senior Business Systems Analyst - Workday
Enabling Aurorans on the front lines of Information Technology, powering the tooling, services, and infrastructure needed to deliver the benefits of self-driving technology - Safely, Quickly, and Broadly.

The ideal candidate must be an effective change agent, working with senior leadership to balance changing needs, speed, cost, and risk to ensure the business is able to realize its objectives.

In this role, you will :
- Partner with HR / Compensation stakeholders' teams to gain first-hand knowledge of their processes and synthesize knowledge into systems improvements.
- Collaborate with IT, vendors, and consultants to implement new functionality through development and configuration.
- Manage the annual merit cycle, including setup & deployment of Workday Advanced Comp.
- Help maintain HR, Compensation, data integrity in the systems by running queries, analyzing data, and creating and running various audits.
- Architect Workday HCM solutions to ensure that all work streams are cohesive and cross functional impacts are considered and mitigated.
- Researching and resolving day to day Workday US Compensations issues.
- Provide data, evidence and documentation for SOX audits.
- Act as a key point of contact for HCM team communications with internal business users.
- Research issues and identify the root causes; own the resolutions, communicate issues at hand, serve as liaison between internal customers and all support entities.
- Assist with system questions, problem resolution, and troubleshooting.
- Create test scenarios and assist in performing tests to ensure all processes work according to predetermined goals.
- Manage and create documentation around system configuration, changes, support, and requirements for compliance and scale.
- Partner with finance to report on compensation trends, accruals, and forecasts.
- Perform ad hoc audits on compensation plans such as salary, bonuses, and allowances.
- Help with processing mid-year Job / Compensation changes.
- Uphold the security and confidentiality of documents and data within area of responsibility.
- Ensure the security, scalability, reliability of business-critical systems which includes managing priorities and balancing demand in a rapidly changing environment.
Required Qualifications :
- 8+ years of experience as a Business Analyst with increasing levels of responsibility.
- 5+ years of experience with HR systems, specifically Workday Compensation and Security.
- B.S. degree in Business, Information Systems, or related area or equivalent.
- Strong working knowledge of Google Workspace, Atlassian tools (Jira), diagraming tools (Visio).
- Prior experience delivering technical solutions in high growth environments.
Desirable Qualifications :
- 2+ years of experience with end-to-end implementation of Workday Compensation; certification preferred.
- Strong understanding of HR, Recruiting, Compensation and IT business processes as well as intra and inter-departmental functions and interdependencies.
- Administration and / or implementation experience with Workday and / or other leading HRIS Systems in a public company.
- Business background or qualification in HCM, Compensation in a corporate environment.
Compensation :
The base salary range for this position is $132,000-$198,000 per year. Aurora’s pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location.
Within the range, the successful candidate’s starting base pay will be determined based on factors including job-related skills, experience, qualifications, relevant education or training, and market conditions.
These ranges may be modified in the future. The successful candidate will also be eligible for an annual bonus, equity compensation, and benefits.
