As a Risk Guide supporting Capital One Ventures, you will partner with colleagues to contribute to the success of an exciting business within Capital One.
Capital One Ventures is a dedicated team of investors and operators committed to identifying financially-attractive companies that are designed to accelerate Capital One priorities.
The team gathers intent from Capital One leaders to drive the investment strategy and evaluate the investment's potential to solve technical challenges, optimize resources, capture market opportunity and general financial upside.

In this role you’ll need to manage multiple deliverables at the same time while maintaining a high level of attention to detail and clear communication.
Responsibilities :
Partner with the Ventures team in the development and execution of the risk management strategy and deliver on enterprise and team objectives.
Partner with the business partners to deliver on the identification and development of risks, issues, and / or mitigation plans to ensure the business implements needed changes and addresses areas of exposure.
Develop and help to deliver senior level risk management reporting and communications
Collaborate effectively with colleagues, stakeholders, and leaders across multiple organizations to achieve strategic objectives
Coordinate program-related activities and deliverables to ensure effective collaboration within the team and across stakeholder groups
Continuously look for ways to improve and innovate in our approach to risk management.
Establish and maintain relationships with Enterprise Services process owners, process managers, and vertical risk advisors
Basic Qualifications :
Bachelor's Degree
2+ years of experience in presenting to senior leadership
2+ years of experience supporting, partnering and interacting with internal business clients
2+ of experience in Process, Project, and / or Risk Management, or Audit
Preferred Qualifications :
Experience in risk management for compliance or technology business areas
Project or process management experience in a cross functional environment
Professional certifications within risk management or assurance (Certified Risk Management Professional, Certified Internal Auditor).

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting.
Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.
New York City (Hybrid On-Site) : $134,100 - $153,000 for Prin Assoc, Cyber Risk & Analysis
