Position Overview :
We are seeking a talented and experienced Business Systems Analyst to join our dynamic team on a contract-to-hire basis. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between business objectives and technical solutions by analyzing, designing, and implementing software systems for our clients.
This position offers the opportunity to work on diverse software development projects and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
This is a hybrid position, working 3 days on site at the client’s location in Sacramento, CA*
Key Responsibilities :
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements, objectives, and goals.
Translate business requirements into technical specifications and user stories for development teams.
Conduct feasibility studies, impact analyses, and risk assessments to support project planning and decision-making.
Work closely with software developers, QA engineers, and project managers to ensure the successful delivery of software solutions.
Facilitate communication and collaboration between business stakeholders and technical teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
Perform system testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and validation to ensure solutions meet business requirements and quality standards.
Provide ongoing support, troubleshooting, and training to end-users as needed.
Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to business analysis and software development.
Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field.
Minimum of 3 years of professional experience as a Business Systems Analyst or similar role, preferably in a software development environment.
Proven track record of successfully delivering software development projects on time and within budget.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex business requirements into clear and concise technical specifications.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
Experience with Agile methodologies (, Scrum, Kanban) and tools (, Jira, Trello) is highly desirable.
Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) processes and methodologies.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Relevant certifications (, CBAP, PMI-PBA) are a plus.
