Direct Support Professionals (DSP's) support our clients to achieve their desired quality of life and ensure optimal health and safety.
They assist and support people with varied abilities to live a more independent life, increase socialization and actively participate in their community.
We are Hiring Team Members Who :
Possess a High School Diploma or GED
Are 18 Years of age or older
Have a current Driver’s License in good standing with proof of registration & insurance
Are compassionate and understanding
Have strong verbal communication skills

The Current Minimum Starting Hourly Rate for this position is : $18 per hour

We have been serving our community for 22+ years by delivering home and community- based services to increase independence, personal choices, and quality of life.
We have over 450 clients and 300 employees which are continuously growing by the day. Together we provide services in Atlantic, Burlington, Camden, Cumberland, Gloucester, and Salem Counties.
Avenues provides individualized supports to help adults with various disabilities and needs choose the services they desire to live in their own homes, access their communities, and explore and maintain meaningful employment.
We form personal and meaningful connections with our clients, to know, understand, and meet their needs at every level. Supports are focused on building an individualized service and / or employment plan around a person’s preferences, strengths, abilities, and requirements.
Services are self-directed and the process involves families, friends, and professionals in both the planning and selection of services for the individual.

Essential Job Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To :
Assist Clients with living skills such as shopping, transportation, hygiene, cooking, and cleaning.
Support clients in community experiences and at social events.
Accompany and support individuals in medical appointments.
Support clients in achieving the goals they have set.
Perform other duties assigned by the Program Director or Manager.
