Clinical Trials Nurse Heme / Transplant; MSK Kids

We are currently hiring a Clinical Trials Nurse for our Pediatric Clinical Research Program. Our teams care for patients on over 100 clinical trials offered at MSK Kids.

We offer a wide range of clinical trials and are member of consortiums including the Pediatric Brain Tumor Consortium, Pediatric Early Phase Clinical Trials Network (PEP-CTN), and Children’s Oncology Group.

The Clinical Trials Nurse will work closely with the pediatric hematologic malignancies and pediatric transplant and cellular therapy services.

You will :

• Provide direct nursing care to research study participants as an integral member of the clinical research team.
• Implement the standards for research protocols in compliance with regulatory, institutional and external agencies.
• Work within a Nurse-Physician based Ambulatory Care Practice Model.
• Perform patient assessment, offer patient education and patient / family support
• Act as part of a multidisciplinary team to provide continuity of care to patients throughout various stages of treatment on protocol and follow-up.
• Participate in an individualized training / orientation program geared to teaching or reinforcing the principles of Clinical Trials Nursing practiced at MSKCC.
• Coordinate research and clinical activities to meet patient care needs and study requirements, and communicate with investigators.
• Assure patient safety and protocol integrity by addressing patient care needs and ensuring accurate data collection.

You need :

• New York State RN license
• Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing
• Three years clinical Nursing experience
• Pediatric Oncology or General Oncology experience required
• Clinical research nursing experience preferred
• Proficiency with clinical and office software (Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel)
• BCLS

Shift :

Four / 10hr days - Location 1275 York Ave. NYC

Pay Range :

$119,000- $154,450.00
