Graduate Teacher Education at Stonehill College seeks an experienced, knowledgeable, and collaborative researcher to join our growing graduate teacher education department in the division of graduate and professional studies.
The candidate will hold a faculty appointment and will have administrative, teaching, service, and scholarship responsibilities consistent with the mission of the department and the College.
The successful candidate will have a strong disciplinary background in the field of teacher education / teacher preparation with content expertise in math and / or science.
Teaching responsibilities include three courses per semester with the potential for research release time, departmental and division service, research and professional development, and opportunities for leadership as Coordinator of Math / Science teacher licensure programs.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Curricular oversight of math teacher licensure programs.
- Teaching, service, & scholarship.
- Departmental duties including assessment.
- Work closely with the Director of Graduate Teacher Education.
- Work closely with the designated licensure officer.
- Assisting with professional development, conferences, and admission events.
- Evening and weekend work.
- Access to an automobile.
Education and Experience
or ( must have a strong research agenda). Expertise in mathematics teacher education or teacher education / teacher preparation.
A strong understanding of Massachusetts licensure is strongly preferred. Teaching experience in a PK-22 setting is strongly preferred.
