Summary of Role :

We are seeking a driven and detail-oriented Construction Manager with at least 1year of experience in managing construction projects, preferably in the Outside Plant (OSP) telecommunications industry. The Construction Manager will oversee field operations, coordinate with subcontractors, ensure quality standards, maintain project timelines, and manage safety compliance on job sites. This role requires extensive travel (34 weeks at a time) to various project sites across the region.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

• Manage day-to-day field construction activities for OSP projects (aerial and underground fiber installations).
• Supervise and coordinate the work of field crews, subcontractors, and vendors.
• Ensure adherence to project schedules, budgets, and quality standards.
• Conduct job site inspections to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal safety and environmental regulations.
• Review construction plans and specifications; communicate project goals and deliverables to teams.
• Prepare daily / weekly reports documenting project progress, delays, safety incidents, and resource usage.
• Act as a liaison between project managers, engineers, and field teams to ensure smooth execution.
• Resolve field issues promptly to avoid project delays or budget overruns.
• Monitor inventory, tools, and equipment usage on-site.
• Ensure proper documentation of work completed including as-builts, redlines, and photos.
