We are offering a contract employment opportunity for a Customer Service Representative in our engineering industry located in Syracuse, New York.
As a Customer Service Representative, your role will be crucial in ensuring customer satisfaction by processing customer applications, maintaining accurate customer records, and resolving customer inquiries.
Additionally, you will monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action when necessary.
Job Responsibilities :
- Begin by learning our intricate order entry process, which is fundamental to the role
- Progress to handle customer calls, ensuring all inquiries are dealt with professionally and efficiently
- Address Salesforce cases via email, demonstrating excellent written communication and problem-solving skills
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer credit records.
- Resolve customer inquiries promptly and professionally.
- Perform data entry tasks as needed.
- Communicate effectively through email correspondence.
- Willing to work initially from 8-5, with the potential of transitioning to a 9-6 schedule
- Assume responsibility for other administrative tasks and projects as they arise
- Proficient in answering inbound calls and managing inbound outbound calls
- Experience in call center customer service is essential
- Ability to provide excellent customer service
- Proficient in data entry tasks
- Skilled in email correspondence
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word
- Experience in order entry is a must
- Ability to manage and schedule appointments effectively
- Background in engineering or a related field is a plus
- Must have strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively
- Must be detail-oriented and able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Problem-solving and decision-making skills are essential.
