Job Description
Pay Rate : $19.00 per hour
Additional $1.00 per hour for hours worked between 7 : 00pm and 11 : 59pm. Additional $2.00 per hour for hours worked between 12 : 00am-4 : 59am)
- To assist A and B Maintenance in maintaining all incubation and hatchery equipment, including all chick servicing equipment.
- Maintain and / or repair / replace parts on incubators, hatchers, and equipment in the Service Room (i.e., boxes, conveyor belts).
- Perform incubator checks and other preventative maintenance.
- Perform work on special projects such as welding, electrical work, etc.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management, including but not limited to being the relief for other hatchery operations.
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Must be able to perform basic maintenance work
- Must have basic math skills.
- Must be able to move 1500-pound egg racks (on wheels).
- Must have basic electrical knowledge.
- Must have good communication skills.
