Ryder is hiring a CDL A or B local straight truck driver in Burnsville, MN . A local truck driving job typically consists of transporting freight within a 200-mile radius, allowing the driver to complete their deliveries and return home the same day. Compensation :

  • Weekly Pay : $920+
  • Hourly Rate : $25.00 hours per week

Shift Pay : $1.00 per hour

    • Home Time, Route & Schedule :

  • Home daily
  • Start Time : 11 : 30 AM
  • Monday Friday NO WEEKENDS
  • Route : shuttling surrounding areas
  • Freight : touch aerospace parts

    • Equipment : pallet jack

    Equipment :

  • Trucks are 36 months or newer
  • 26' box truck
  • 24 / 7 Roadside Maintenance and Company Drivers fuel up the trucks at over 800 Maintenance Facilities Nationwide

    • Qualifications

  • Must have a valid CDL B License
  • Minimum 21 years of age
  • Must have Class A or Bverifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle

    • 9 months experience within the past 3 years, OR

  • 2 years experience within the last 5 years, OR
  • 5 years experience within the last 10 years
  • Pass a Ryder Drug Test
  • Pass a Ryder Background and Motor vehicle check including Drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years
  • Pass a DOT physical
  • Pass a Ryder road test
  • Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations policies and / or procedures
  • Must live within 30 miles of Burnsville, MN
