Appointments will be in one or more departments, including , , , , and . These exciting new positions are associated with the university’s in biosciences, expanding life sciences research on the Bloomington campus.
- We are interested in researchers working in the field of chemical biology, broadly defined. Of particular interest are candidates with research interests in the following topic areas : chemical biology tool development;
- bioorthogonal chemistry and biocatalysis; medicinal chemistry; computational chemical biology; omics in chemical / disease biology;
- macromolecular structure and function; molecular switches, imaging and biosensors, including single molecule studies; chemical biology of nucleic acids and epigenetic / epitranscriptomic regulation;
and glycobiology. We encourage applications from scholars who apply interdisciplinary perspectives across a variety of these domains.
Responsibilities : Candidates are expected to sustain an active, externally funded research program, to engage undergraduate and graduate students through effective teaching, and to participate in service to the university and the profession.

Basic Qualifications Qualifications : Applicants should possess a PhD in Chemical Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology, Computer Science, Engineering (or a related field) and be committed to excellence in scholarship and teaching at the undergraduate and graduate levels.
