Job Title : Lab Technician
Job Description
The main function of a laboratory technician is to conduct chemical and physical laboratory tests to assist scientists and engineers in making qualitative and quantitative analyses of solid and liquid materials used in the institutional cleaning chemical market.
The laboratory technician will be supporting multiple projects and project teams with a focus on machine ware washing chemicals, equipment, and ware performance testing.
Job Responsibilities :
Performs laboratory tests under direct supervision, controls variable conditions and observes and comments on unusual events or departures from prescribed test conditions.
Recommends improvement of experimental procedures.
Measures test results obtained and records all data accurately and concisely in a laboratory notebook. Assists higher level technical personnel in analyzing and interpreting experimental data.
Makes preliminary evaluation on results and recommends acceptance or rejection.
- Assists in maintaining the productivity and organization of a busy research laboratory
- Maintain Standard Operating Procedures and make recommendations for their improvement
- Participate in scientific discussion and critical thinking
- Assemble test materials and equipment to expedite test procedures
- Assist in analyzing and interpreting experimental data
- Maintain clean and safe work facility

Location : This role is 100% onsite. It is not open to remote workers.
