The Koch Internship Program (KIP) is a paid, 10-week experiential learning program run by that offers meaningful work experience at non-profits all over the country tackling some of our nation’s most pressing .

Throughout your internship with a partner organization, Stand Together Fellowships hosts virtual professional development sessions every Thursday from 1-5 pm ET, wherein you will be mentored by seasoned professionals as you craft a capstone project on the topic that matters most to you.

Interns will receive either a $5,500 or $3,300 stipend from Stand Together Fellowships depending on whether they are participating full-time (40 hours / week) or part-time (28 hours / week).

Through various programs, publications, and events, FEE empowers individuals to understand the economic principles that drive prosperity and fosters a society rooted in individual rights and limited government.

About FEE's Editorial Team : FEE’s website and social media reach millions of visitors each year. We are looking for individuals with an interest in journalism or social media.

The internship will include practical skills development on writing op-eds, job searching, and networking.

Responsibilities :

  • Assist in all areas of editorial work; from producing outputs for our text and media channels to coordinating with freelance contributors.
  • Conduct research and analysis to identify potential themes for content coverage.
  • Provide vital administrative support to the editorial team, including document management, and filtering correspondence.

Skills :

  • Majors in English, Journalism, or Communications preferred but not required.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to efficiently prioritize tasks.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective collaboration at all levels.
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, etc.) and willingness to learn new software and tools.
  • Independent and team-oriented, demonstrating a proactive and positive approach to work.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities with a creative and resourceful mindset.
