Job Description

Our Global Real Estate (GRE) Finance and Business Management organization is responsible for key components of the Firm's corporate real estate portfolio including capital and expense planning, balance sheet forecasting, and portfolio occupancy analytics.

As a part of this team, you will gain unique perspective into the macro strategy of the firm. We advise senior stakeholders on their workforce and location planning process - providing in-depth analyses and recommendations - to optimize business strategy and drive decisions.

The GRE Finance and Business Management team sits within the Chief Administrative Office's (CAO) Finance & Business Management division.

As a Finance Business Manager in Global Real Estate, you will support the GRE CFO, and will play a crucial role in driving strategic initiatives and analytics across GRE.

This role involves conducting thorough data analyses, leading and executing a range of adhoc projects, preparing materials and reporting for senior audiences, and improving processes to enhance team efficiency.

You will collaborate with senior leaders to support various strategic initiatives and build strong relationships with internal stakeholders to ensure successful project execution.

In addition, you will lead and manage a team of regional business managers across the Americas, providing centralized guidance and serving as a strong connection between the Regional Real Estate teams and Finance.

This is a time-pressured and high-profile position which is instrumental in assisting / advising senior management and in coordinating the deployment of the bank's corporate resources to address strategic and tactical objectives.

Job responsibilities :

  • Conduct thorough quantitative and logical analyses to support business decisions, process improvements, and strategic planning
  • Prepare routine and adhoc business management reporting and high touch presentations, create impactful presentations and succinctly communicate findings to senior management
  • Lead and execute a range of projects, including process improvement, automation, and new reporting development
  • Develop and implement business processes to enhance team efficiency
  • Lead and manage a team of regional business managers across the Americas, providing guidance and support to ensure effective performance and development
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal GRE and CAO partners
  • Collaborate with senior leaders across GRE and CAO to support various strategic initiatives

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills :

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field
  • 7+ years of experience in financial services, business management, or a related area
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to use data to drive insights and decisions
  • Proven experience in managing teams and leading cross-regional initiatives
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage with senior leaders and cross-functional teams
  • Proven experience in project management, including leading complex projects and initiatives
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically and execute methodically
  • Self-motivated, tenacious, and able to work with high degree of independence
  • Strong time management and prioritization skills, with attention to detail with logical thought process
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint) and other relevant tools (Tableau, Alteryx, Qlik, Python, etc.)
