Registered Nurse Labor and Delivery Per Diem Nights
Summary The Registered Nurse / RN provides high quality, safe, cost effective, total nursing care to all patients utilizing the nursing process.
The Registered Nurse / RN assumes responsibility for overall coordination and integration of patient care based on need of the patient and family members.
The Registered Nurse / RN directs care according to established standards of safety, risk management, Infection control, with the goal being to discharge the patient with an optimum level of care provided.
The Registered Nurse / RN utilizes evidence-based practice in accordance with professional standards and adheres to the Florida State Nurse Practice Act.
The Registered Nurse / RN reviews orders / test results and documents care delivered accurately and timely in electronic health record.
Qualifications Education Required : Graduate of an accredited School of NursingPreferred : Academic degree in nursing (Bachelors or Masters degree) Experience Preferred : (1) year experience in Medical / Surgical or Labor and Delivery Certifications Required : Registered Nurse / RN Licensed in the State of Florida American Heart Association BLS American Heart Association ACLS NRP Fetal Heart Monitoring Certification within 90 days of start date Novice or Novice to L&D : Fetal Heart Monitoring certification within 90 days of start ACLS within 90 days of start NRP within 90 days of start #LI-YQ1 Tenet complies with federal, state, and / or local laws regarding mandatory vaccination of its workforce.
