FIELD OPERATIONS SUPERVISOR

Willdan Lighting & Electric currently has an opening for a field supervisor in our Maspeth, NY office. This role is integral to the management and success of our energy efficiency projects.

We are looking for an outgoing individual that is comfortable working in a team environment and not afraid to be the face of Willdan to subcontractors and clients alike.

Someone that has the ability to identify improper lighting surveys and installations and provides a solution to the client.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Coordination of subcontractors in multiple locations.
• Oversite of quality control for all installations performed by field staff including building codes and safety requirements.
• Maintain a high level of knowledge regarding lighting technologies and other Energy Efficiency measures.
• Reconciling project equipment orders with warehouse management & other team members as needed.
• Coordinating with program scheduler or scheduling field installs, performing pre, in-process, and post installation reviews for crew, ensuring work is performed safely and handling customer visits for complaint resolution.
• Closing out projects with customers and collecting payment.
• Managing and hiring a field team and conducting performance reviews.
• Attending team meetings as needed and taking a lead role in resolving customer complaints.
• Collaborating with field staff to share best practices and continually improve operations.
• Preparing or supporting project reporting for Wildan Management.

Job Requirements / Qualifications

• At least two years experience in a lighting technology role.
• Knowledge / training in electrical and lighting construction technologies.
• Basic understanding of MS Suite.
• High School Diploma.
