Job Summary
- The Nutrition Assistant II is accountable for providing quality customer meals through snack and meal preparation and assembly, service and cleanup.
- Provides exceptional care and service to patients, residents, guests and fellow employees at all times.
- Supports the hospital’s goal of excellence in patient care in a Christian, caring environment by facilitating positive employee relations and supporting department goals.
- Performs all duties and responsibilities in such a way as to demonstrate and support the hospital's Catholic heritage and Avera co-sponsorship values of hospitality, compassion and stewardship.
- Provides care / service in accordance with regulatory and accrediting agency's standards and Catholic Ethical and Religious Directives.
Education and / or Experience
High school diploma or equivalent preferred, two years food service and / or training preferred or combination of education and experience preferred.
Work Schedule
- Monday-Friday, 4 : 00pm-8 : 00pm; PRN (as needed)
- Every other weekend, every other holiday, 9 : 30am-2 : 00pm
The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.
$17.00 - $20.50 per hour
