Summary :
ThePlant Manager is a key leadership role responsible for overseeingall operations of our frozen dessert manufacturing facility atHeidis Frozen Delights.
This includes managing production qualityurance maintenance safety and employee relations. The successfulcandidate will drive efficiency productivity and continuousimprovement while ensuring the highest quality products aredelivered to ourcustomers.
EssentialDuties andResponsibilities :
ProductionManagement :
Overseethe entire production process ensuring it meets volume quality andcosttargets.
Implementlean manufacturing principles to maximize efficiency and minimizewaste.
Monitorkey performance indicators (KPIs) and implement corrective actionsasneeded.
Manageproduction schedules to meet customer demand and inventorylevels.
Qualityurance :
Ensureadherence to strict food safety and qualitystandards.
Maintaincompliance with all regulatoryrequirements.
Leadcontinuous improvement initiatives to enhance productquality.
Overseethe quality control team and laboratoryoperations.
Maintenance :
Developand implement a preventive maintenance program to minimizedowntime.
Overseefacility maintenance andrepairs.
Managethe maintenance team and ensure their ss areuptodate.
Safety :
Createand maintain a safe working environment for allemployees.
Ensurecompliance with all safetyregulations.
Leadsafety training programs and promote a safetyfirstculture.
EmployeeRelations :
Managea team of over 100 employees including production supervisorsquality control personnel maintenance technicians and other supportstaff.
Fostera positive and engaging workenvironment.
Conductperformance evaluations and provide coaching and developmentopportunities.
Addressemployee concerns and resolve conflicts in a timelymanner.
FinancialManagement :
Developand manage the plants operatingbudget.
yzeproduction costs and identify costsavingopportunities.
Preparefinancial reports andforecasts.
ContinuousImprovement :
Leadcontinuous improvement efforts to enhance productivity quality andsafety.
Implementnew technologies and processes to optimizeoperations.

Requirements
Qualifications :
Bachelorsdegree in engineering food science or a relatedfield.
Minimumof 10 years of experience in manufacturing with at least 5 years ina plant managementrole.
Proventrack record of leading a large manufacturing facility andachieving operationalexcellence.
Strongknowledge of food safety and qualitystandards.
Excellentleadership communication and interpersonalss.
Experiencein managing budgets and financialperformance.
Strongytical and problemsolvingss.
Leanmanufacturing experience is aplus.

Qualifications : Education : Bachelor's Degree in biology, chemistry,microbiology, food technology, or a related field. Ability to workin a refrigerated environment (30 F to 45 F) for extended periods(up to 12 hours).
Physical capability to lift up to 50 pounds.Strong teamwork, communication, and leadership ss. Experience : Minimum of 6 years of experience as a QA Manager in a foodmanufacturing environment.
At least 8 years of experience workingwithin food production.
