Summary
Landmark is seeking to develop exceptional thinkers and creative problem-solvers into future leaders of our company. The Transportation Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our Ground Transportation Network.
Since our company is built around our ability to move goods swiftly and efficiently, this is a key role with a great deal of visibility and room for growth.
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the scheduling and tracking of both our in-house transportation fleet and partner carrier daily pickups, creation of shipping documents, and tracking / tracing of shipments in transit.

The position requires fast and efficient data entry while keeping attention to detail, and solid time management skills in order to meet crucial deadlines not to mention the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues at all levels and in various departments within the company.

Position Responsibilities
Our leaders are involved in both strategic planning and day-to-day operations. They are held accountable for developing relationships, managing and reporting on performance in their area of the business, and ensuring that both efficiency and customer service quality are maximized.
And they are expected to have fun doing it!
- Working on various projects and initiatives to support the demands and goals of the overall business.
- Efficiently scheduling transportation moves via email, phone or online portals.
- Assisting with the daily dispatch of our in-house fleet of drivers
- Track and trace shipments, querying carriers when needed, and communicating any needed updates to internal departments.
- Data entry within our Transportation Management System
- Working closely with the Landmark Operations teams to ensure effective communication and resource optimization
- Review and audit freight invoices using rates cards and other various tools
- Additional duties, as assigned.
Position Requirements
A successful candidate must have the capacity to quickly assume leadership responsibilities, including effective communication both internally and externally.
Experience with transportation and / or fleet management is a core requirement.
- 3-5 years’ experience in the supply chain industry, ideally focused on LTL & FTL
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, often with limited direction
- Demonstrated success meeting deadlines, coping well with change, and maintaining composure under pressure.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office
- High school diploma required
- Ability to travel occasionally, sometimes on short notice, to destinations in both the USA and Canada. A valid driver’s license and passport are essential.

Position Pay Range
$60,000 to $70,000 per year based on experience and other factors
