What would this role do?
The Associate Clinical Director plays a critical role in guiding the professional growth of our team, from clinician skill development to leadership enrichment.
Through strategic programs and initiatives, this position will assist the Director of Clinical Services (DOCS) on the assigned site and support the DOCS in the performance of their duties.
Role Responsibilities
Administrative Duties :
- Contribute to the development and establishment of clinical services in the site region.
- Oversee all clinical and operations metrics within the clinic.

- Ensure that employees under supervision meet billable service targets, including :
- Delivering the minimum billable hours set by the business (this varies by office and business need).
- Managing a caseload of billable services per month set by the business (this varies by office and business need).
- Providing a minimum of 95% of clinical supervision services monthly.
- Delivering a minimum of 85% of clinical direct services monthly.
- Support the Director with all administrative functions of the site including, but not limited to :
- Report due dates.
- Staffing goals.
- New Partner onboarding.
- New Client intakes from waitlist.
- Ensure understanding, implementation, and reinforcement of all company policies and procedures.
- Maintaining reliable communication to record scheduled appointments and return phone calls within 24 hours.
- Ensuring that the company’s zero tolerance policy is understood, implemented, and reinforced in the region.
- Ensuring that Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPPA) compliance is understood and reinforced in the region.
- Complying with all Mandated Reporting Laws and Regulations
Clinical Job Duties :
- Provide case supervision and BCBA supervision, based on office need and available hours.
- Create, individualize, maintain, evaluate, and supervise ABA programs.
- Provide clinical consultation, including behavior plans and programming, to BCBAs.
- Conduct monthly provider meetings to review : Barriers to progress, Cancellations, and Service utilization.
- Provide parent training needed and approved.
- Meet with Caregivers as needed.
- To discuss clinical outcomes.
- Frequent Cancellations
- Lack of adherence to clinical treatment program.
- Oversee and train clinical staff in line with the company’s training procedure.
- Supervise and monitor completion of assessments.
- Assessments are completed within 30 days.
- Recommendation is clinically appropriate based on client needs.
- Location of services is appropriate based on client’s needs.
- Conduct report reviews and revisions and offer case consultation providers as necessary.
- Conduct functional behavior assessments.
- Supervise, train, mentor and monitor assigned supervisors and BCBA’s in training.
- Build best practices and support caseloads for your site.
NON ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO :
- Completing all duties, tasks, and / or special projects as assigned by leaders and / or the business.
- Participating in team meetings, trainings, and professional development opportunities.
- Providing direct services, if necessary, to supervise more efficiently.
- Conducting staff meetings and professional development meetings as indicated.
- Maintaining reliable transportation and current liability insurance (if applicable).
- Familiarity with funding provider standards and guidelines.
- Providing BCBA supervision to supervisors and BCBA interns.
- Providing parent and employee training as needed and approved.
Must Haves
- Must possess an active Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification.
- 2+ years clinical experience including : Direct service delivery with individuals with varying diagnoses, diverse levels of functioning, and broad range of ages.
Implement Client behavior plans across skill levels, moderate to severe problem behaviors, and service delivery settings.
Report writing.Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.
Minimum of 2 years supervision experience including : Formal staff training including didactic and in-vivo.Formal performance evaluation of junior staff.
Evaluation of more junior staff with respect to clinical programming, administrative tasks, direct therapy, and parent-training skills.
Client program development across skill levels, moderate to severe problem behaviors, and service delivery settings.Expertise in all empirically evaluated assessment and intervention strategies.
- Excellent clinical and leadership skills.
- Fluency with all Microsoft Office programs.
- Self-motivated, responsible, honest, articulate, excellent time management skills, and skills to work independently.
- Professional demeanor, well-organized, and attention to detail.
- Skills consistent with serving culturally and linguistically diverse families in low and high socio-economic status areas.
- Comfortable working in homes (studio apt. housing project, etc.) of families with limited resources.
- Demonstrate effective communication skills to interact with Clients, family members, and agency’s staff.
- Commitment to ethical practice and ongoing professional development.
