The primary objective for the I&E Technician is to troubleshoot equipment, industrial instrumentation installation and repairs, and also be familiar with electrical and mechanical equipment.
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to carry out each necessary duty adequately. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and / or ability required.
Essential Functions
- Equipment troubleshooting
- Maintain and monitor all equipment in the facility
- Work closely with the maintenance team to maintain the computerized maintenance management system
- Discuss with the Maintenance manager and / or Maintenance Supervisor on any issues that arise
- Understand plant processes and how equipment is operated
- Complete tasks assigned by the Maintenance Manager and / or Maintenance Supervisor
Knowledge / Experience
- Proficient computer skills
- Basic mechanical skills required
- Hands on
- Efficient in problem solving and troubleshooting
- Required knowledge of PLC's, AC drives, electrical and control logic
- Operate Large equipment
- Commitment to safety procedures
Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- Valid Driver's License
- Licensed Electrician a plus
