Required skills and minimum years of experience.ICU background primarily made up of general medical and surgical patients with occasional ortho, including : cardiac drips, vasopressor drips, nitro drips, ventilator experience, major surgical experience, knowledge of elderly care with several co-morbidities, pediatric care would be beneficial, care of epidural patients, cardioversion with conscious sedationRequired knowledge, skills, and abilities : Critical thinking skills with experience in assessment of critical care patient, ability to recognize subtle changes to patient assessments, strong communication skills with physicians and team members, knowledgeable of cardiac rhythms, ability to follow comprehensive protocols , responsible for running code blues within ICU / Med / Surgical until physician arrivalEssential duties / tasks of the position : bedside patient care, working with multiple members of a critical care team4.

Specific licensures and certifications / registrations required. (ARRT, CRT, BLS, ACLS, etc)ACLS, BLS, PALSSD or compact nursing license5.

Shift or schedule requirements. (Will the employee ever work alone? Is call required? If so, how often? Are weekends required?

Primary in Med Surg taking a patient load or responsible for watching telemetry patients with 1-2 patients. but will float to ICU7.
