Technical Support Engineer

Key Role :

Support day-to-day remote technical aspects of product operational data to identify diagnostic issues in enough detail to determine if the root cause is hardware or software related.

Apply specific functional knowledge and general industry knowledge. Develop or contribute to solutions to a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity.

Work independently with some guidance and review or guide activities of more junior employees.

Basic Qualifications :

Experience providing customer support to end users either in person, through email, or over the phone

Knowledge of Windows or Linux operating systems

Ability to administer application, user, and systems accounts

Ability to analyze, diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve end user IT issues, including software applications, web applications, and peripheral devices

TS / SCI clearance

Associate's degree

CompTIA Security+ or DoD 8570 IAT Level II Certification

Additional Qualifications :

Experience working with virtualization technology

Experience working in SAPF and SCIF environments

Experience using Splunk, ACAS, or STIGs

Knowledge of networking devices and configuration

Clearance :

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information;

TS / SCI clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements.

The projected compensation range for this position is $54,000.00 to $123,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
