Job Description :
We are seeking an experienced Tax Manager to join our team. In this role, you will review complex Federal and multi-state tax returns for individuals, trusts, estates, non-profit organizations, and pass-through entities.
Additionally, you will review gift tax returns, quarterly and year-end tax projections, and tax workpapers. You will deliver clear requests for information directly to clients and research Federal, state, and cross-border tax issues.
Key Responsibilities :
- Review complex tax returns for individuals, trusts, estates, non-profit organizations, and pass-through entities
- Review gift tax returns and tax projections
- Deliver clear requests for information to clients
- Research tax issues
- Strategize on tax planning with partners and client teams
- Mentor, train, and supervise staff
- Manage deadlines and client work
- Bill clients and collect outstanding receivables
Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Taxation
- CPA certification required
- 7+ years of experience in tax preparation and planning
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
