2 weekdays 7 : 45am to 8 : 15pm
Fridays either 7 : 45am to 4 : 15pm or 11 : 45am to 8 : 15pm alternating
Includes weekends and most holidays (Closed Thanksgiving and Christmas Day)
Working under the supervision, and following established procedures, performs a variety of radiologic procedures using standard, portable and / or specialized x-ray equipment to apply prescribed ionizing radiation in order to assist physicians in the diagnosis and treatment of patient’s illness or injury.
Required Skills / Qualifications / Training / Experience :
- 12 weeks on-the job training and orientation
- Command of verbal written English
- Positive interpersonal communication skills
- Organizational skills
Preferred Skills / Qualifications / Training / Experience :
- One to five years as a radiologic technologist
- Able to lift, push, pull without restriction
- Able to use proper body mechanics
- Able to work extra hours, including rotations
- Able to answer telephone
Educational Requirements :
Graduate of an approved school of radiologic technology, associate degree in Radiologic Technology
License / Certification : ARRT Registration, Massachusetts licensure and CPR certification required.
