Overview
Title : Senior Account Manager - Commercial Lines. Work Mode : Remote in Eastern and Central Time Zones. Location / Supporting : Longwood, FL. Book Focus : General, Construction, Contractors.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage an assigned book of business, ensuring account retention and supporting new business.
- Coordinate day-to-day administrative and customer service activities, resolving complex issues, and ensuring data accuracy.
- Serve as a subject matter expert for the account management team.
- Maintain policy expirations and renewals; conduct client research, prepare submissions, negotiate coverages, and present proposals.
- Monitor reports for accounts receivable and collect outstanding balances as needed.
- Maintain agency management systems and carrier / vendor platforms with accurate data.
- Maintain clear, proactive communication with the account team regarding workload and any issues.
- Deliver excellent service, anticipate needs, and respond quickly to service requests.
- Stay updated on company policies and procedures; seek and adopt best practices for performance improvement.
- Demonstrate integrity and leadership in line with IOA values.
Ideal Candidate Qualifications
5+ years of account management experience, or 7+ years in the insurance industry.Thorough knowledge of insurance brokerage and client needs.Active licensing; professional designation (CIC or equivalent) preferred.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.Exceptional customer service, communication, multitasking, and organizational skills.Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).High School Diploma (or equivalent).What We Offer
