Itochu Building Products (IBP) Holdings has an immediate need for an Accounting Manager to work at the Dallas, TX headquarters.
Comprised of three subsidiary companies (Master Halco, Alta Forest Products, and US Premier Tube Mills), Itochu Building Products is the largest leading manufacturer and wholesale distributor of fencing products in North America.
The Accounting Manager will be an integral part of our Finance shared services team. The role oversees processes and procedures to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting across multiple companies and new acquisitions.

Responsibilities :
Accountabilities & Responsibilities :
- Manage financial audit for multi-national, multi-entity consolidated company
- Oversee accounting and intercompany billing for parent company
- Ensure the proper accounting treatment for acquisition transactions, adhering to GAAP and relevant regulations
- Develop and implement internal controls for special projects and acquisitions to mitigate financial risks
- Prepare clear, concise, and accurate financial reports for both internal and external stakeholders
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams (e.g., legal, operations) to ensure seamless integration of financial considerations into project and acquisition strategies
- Stay up to date on the latest accounting pronouncements and industry best practices related to special projects and acquisitions
Qualifications :
Required Education and Experience :
- Bachelors degree in accounting or a related field
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in a progressive accounting role, with a focus on complex projects or transactions (e.g.
mergers & acquisitions)
CPA certification preferred

- Strong understanding of GAAP and relevant accounting standards

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work : Monday through Friday 8 hours a day; at times more than 8 hours.
