At Visiting Angels we are seeking a Nurse (PRN) that can provide medical care and home visit assessments for new clients
- Completes nursing assessment of patients and documents appropriately into patient record.
- Provides and coordinates patient care with other health team members.
- Medical care provided in the privacy of the patient's home
- Requires driving to multiple patient's homes daily
Qualifications / Requirements
One years’ experience as a RN, at least 6 months recent home Health experience required
- Current RN License
- Current BLS Certification
- Must have a valid, unrestricted driver’s license
- Must have valid auto insurance
- Other certifications or licenses may be required for this position
Required Essential Skills
- Interpersonal Skills - to work effectively with a variety of personnel (professional and ancillary) to present a positive attitude and a professional appearance.
- Mental Requirements Must be able to cope with frequent contact with the general public, customers, and meeting deadlines under pressure.
Must be able to work under close supervision occasionally as well as working without assistance from other personnel.
Must be able to contend with irregular activity schedules occasionally and continuous concentration to detail.
This is a PRN position.
