Tractor Trailer Driver (Full Time - Local) Job Description

Who are we looking for?
An experienced commercial driver with a Class A endorsement that prioritizes safety and time management.
Minimum Requirements :
A Road Tractor Driver must have the following :
- Valid CDL Class A in good standing
- Current DOT (Departments of Transportation) Medical Card
- Minimum of 3 Years of on-the-road experience
- Availability to work weekends
- Experience with walking floor trailers, tipper trailers, and end-dump trailers is preferred.
About the position :
A Tractor Trailer Driver is responsible for the following :
- Adhere to all Federal Motor Carrier Regulations
- Follow traffic patterns
- Follow flagger directions at a dump site
- Maintain communication with Supervisor s
- Upkeep the general cleanliness of the vehicles you operate
- Other duties as assigned
Physical Demands :
Individuals must have the consistent ability to :
- Skillfully and safely operate a Class A vehicle
- Attach, Remove and Tarp Trailers Safely
- Drive attentively, and safely their entire shift
- Communicate well with others
- Strategically solve problems
- Perform light administrative duties (paperwork)
- Maintain continuous awareness of surroundings
- Work in a fast-paced environment
- Adhere to the safety protocols and procedures

Requisitos mnimos :
Un conductor de tractor de carretera debe tener lo siguiente :
- Licencia de conducir comercial Clase A vlida y al da
- Tarjeta Mdica actual del DOT (Departamento de Transporte)
- Mnimo de 3 aos de experiencia en carretera
- Disponibilidad para trabajar los fines de semana
- Se prefiere la experiencia con remolques de piso mvil, remolques volquete y remolques de descarga final.
Sobre el puesto :
Un conductor de tractor con remolque es responsable de lo siguiente :
- Cumplir con todas las regulaciones federales de autotransportes
- Seguir los patrones de trfico
- Siga las instrucciones del banderillero en un vertedero
- Mantener la comunicacin con el Supervisor s
- Mantenga la limpieza general de los vehculos que opera
- Otras funciones que se le asignen

El individuo debe tener la capacidad constante de :
- Operar con habilidad y seguridad un vehculo Clase A
- Coloque, retire y coloque lonas en los remolques de forma segura
- Conduzca con atencin y seguridad durante todo su turno
- Comuncate bien con los dems
- Resuelva problemas estratgicamente
- Realizar tareas administrativas ligeras (papeleo)
- Mantener una conciencia continua del entorno
- Trabaja en un entorno acelerado
- Cumplir con los protocolos y procedimientos de seguridad
