The Neighborhoods at St. Elizabeth Rehabilitation and Nursing Center provides a comprehensive array of individualized rehabilitation and nursing services, including short-term rehabilitation, skilled nursing care, memory care and in-patient hospice care.
St. Elizabeth Rehabilitation and Nursing Center is currently seeking a Dietary Aide who provides assistance in all dietary functions as directed by the Director of Nutritional Services in accordance with established policies and procedures.
The work schedule is 6 : 00am - 2 : 30pm.
JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Prepare food under the direction of Cook I / Cook II.
- Follow safety regulations as directed.
- Assist in accurate preparation of tray ensuring that tray contents match ticket.
- Serve food in accordance with the established portion control procedures.
- Deliver food carts, trays, etc. to units as instructed.
- Prepare and deliver snacks, nourishments, etc. as instructed.
- Assist in kitchen clean-up, dishwashing procedures and all assigned cleaning, etc. as directed.
- Follow Infection Control policies and procedures
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS :
- Ability to read, write and follow instructions.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time and work in a very warm atmosphere.
- Must be able to move intermittently throughout the facility.
- Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs. with or without reasonable accommodations.
- Requires intermittent sitting, standing, bending, pushing and lifting.
- Must be able to see and hear or use prosthetics that will enable these senses to function adequately to assure that the requirements of this position can be fully met.
