We are seeking a Lead Software Engineer to spearhead our full-stack development initiatives using JavaScript / TypeScript within an AWS environment.
This vital role not only focuses on technical execution but also bridges the gap with product vision, ensuring our engineering efforts align seamlessly with our strategic goals.
As a pivotal contributor, you will work within an agile framework, collaborating closely with team members and customers to design, implement, and maintain high-quality software solutions.
Responsibilities :
- Maintain an unwavering commitment to quality code, keenly identifying subtleties and engaging in critical technical discussions.
- Lead developer team activities, optimizing processes to enhance productivity and code quality.
- Participate actively in product strategy meetings, offering insights and identifying technical challenges and solutions early on.
- Transform broad requirements into clear, achievable tasks.
- Drive continuous improvement of deployed systems and ensure documentation is up-to-date and comprehensive.
- Engage directly with senior stakeholders and customers to convert business needs into precise technical requirements.
- Mentor junior and mid-level engineers, fostering a learning environment and promoting best practices.
- Demonstrate flexibility in adapting to new technologies and changing business needs, while managing complex systems and problem-solving.
- Lead diverse groups through various challenges, maintaining professionalism and effective communication.
Qualifications :
- Expertise in front-end and back-end JavaScript / TypeScript, particularly .
- Extensive experience with AWS micro-services architecture, including ECS / Fargate, DynamoDB, CloudFormation, Lambda, and Step Functions.
- Proficiency in browser automation tools like Puppeteer and headless Chrome.
- Strong background in agile software development methodologies.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of simplifying complex technical details for non-technical audiences.
- Demonstrated leadership in guiding teams through multiple projects and deadlines.
- Proficient in and Ruby on Rails.
- Knowledge of distributed systems and micro-service architectures.
- Exceptional problem-solving, time management, and decision-making capabilities.
- Inspirational attitude that enhances team morale and performance.
