Overview
Group O is looking for a Warehouse Supervisor to join our growing team. The Warehouse Supervisor will mobilize team to deliver / execute shipping and receiving outcomes.
Responsibilities
Primary Tasks :
- Manage a team that ensures shipping and receiving activities are cost effective and meet deadlines
- Operate a forklift safely and efficiently both in the warehouse plus loading and unloading of trucks
- Use warehouse management software to manage different aspects of shipping and inventory
- Monitor quality of items and processes and make changes as needed to improve both
- Employee development to include evaluations and co-coordinating their training
- Confer with management, peers, or subordinates to resolve employee issues
- Inventory control of warehoused items
- Maintain a safe, clean, and orderly work area
- Meet safety, quality, financial, and production goals as defined by the client and business objectives
Secondary Tasks :
- Work with management on reporting and process improvement
- Assist with the building of orders and kits
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Education :
High School diploma or equivalent
Skills :
- Ability to operate forklift and maintain forklift license
- Highly motivated and strong attention to detail
- Bending, standing, walking, and lifting for extended periods of time
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
