About The Position
ID : 51648640 Shift : 12 hour nights Description : Additional Information : Position Description : 1. General job ventilator competent;
Critical Drips Competent; ability to care for ICU patients; continuous renal replacement therapy competent; prefer knowledge of recovering fresh hearts(not required).
ICU nursing skills with ability to titrate IV medicated drips; and ability to care for vented patients; minimum 2 years ICU experience 2.
Equipment utilized in the unit / dept. : + Cerner EMR; Apache acuity software; Accudose with Pyxis pharmacy dispensing system.
3. Required skills and minimum years of experience : + 2 years of recent (within the past 6 months) ICU experience + BSN -or- will accept ASN w / 10+ years of ICU experience (the 10+ years of experience must include recent CCU and the remainder of experience may also include the following units : ICU, OR, PCU, PACU, Cardiac Cath or Tele)4.
Specific licensures and certifications / registrations required : + BLS+ ACLS+ Certified Critical Care RN preferred5. Shift or schedule requirements : + ICU + 12-hour shifts;
will rotate every other weekend and holidays. No call required.6. Floating to other units / departments : 7. Bed size / number of rooms for this unit / dept.
18 beds. Average Daily Census is 10-128. Nurse to patient ratio of this unit : + Depends upon the patient acuity. 9.
