What You'll Do :
- Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
- Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
- Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
- Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
- Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
Responsibilities :
Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at the education location.Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing armed patrol protocols as required.Conduct regular and random patrols around the campus and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and / or suspicious behavior.Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas to help to deter unauthorized access and / or disturbances.Maintain detailed and accurate records of activities, incidents, and / or observations as required by Allied Universal and the site-specific post orders.Communicate professionally with students, staff, visitors, and / or law enforcement as needed.Remain alert and prepared to respond to emergencies or incidents in accordance with Allied Universal training and site-specific procedures.What We're Looking For :

Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.Possess a current armed guard card or license as required by applicable laws and regulations.Must be at least 21 years of age.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Participate in industry-specific security training programs.Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.Why Join Us :
