DESCRIPTION OF WORK
The employee will be responsible for collection and analysis of data submitted by designated staff from Luzerne County Juvenile Probation as well as casework and fiscal department staff at Luzerne County Children and Youth Services.
Exceptional attention to detail is essential as all forms must be thoroughly analyzed for accuracy and completeness. Initial Child forms require verifying identity details, disability, and other child demographics.
Initial Removal forms are reviewed for date of entry and exit into and out of placements, reason of placement, discontinued placement, and caretaker's birth date and demographics.
Ongoing Placement forms need date of entry and exit into and out of placements, relocation, and per diem changes. Review forms are checked for the timeline of hearings.
After analysis, this position contacts caseworkers, supervisors, social service coordinators, or other appropriate personnel to secure explanations of atypical or questionable data, missing or incomplete information, or inaccurate data.
Work also includes developing a tracking and monitoring system from timely submission of data. Share your skills and ensure our team has the data we need to effectively collaborate with families and the community!
Work Schedule and Additional Information :
- Full-time employment
- Work hours are 8 : 00 AM to 4 : 00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
- Telework : You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time, up to one day per week based on business needs.
In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania.
If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Wilkes Barre.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements :
Three years of progressively responsible work in the recording, compilation, and presentation of system or program related information;
and graduation from high school; or
Any equivalent combination of experience and training.
