Under the direct supervision of the Director of Adult Services, responsibilities for the Physical Therapist include :
- Evaluates and administers evidence-based physical therapy treatments.
- Maintain current and accurate documentation.
- Maintain a high level of productivity.
- Perceives the existence of problems and chooses and implements safe, effective, and timely solutions.
- Seeks appropriate guidance regarding questions concerning specific patient care issues.
- Receives calls from physicians and secures adequate information concerning the patient’s treatment and medical history.
- Progression of plan of care with upgrades in skilled services.
- Maintains good work habits.
- Contributes to the WTRC team.
- Exhibits outstanding customer service.
Qualifications
A Physical Therapist must be a graduate of an accredited physical therapy program and possess a current Texas State Licensure.
Must be willing to assist in carrying out the objectives of WTRC. The Physical Therapist adheres to the professional standards of practice guidelines and code of ethics as set forth by the State Board.
