Minimum 1+ years speech therapy experience required.
A school district near Westport, CT is currently interviewing Speech Language Pathologists (SLPs) for a part time contract position for the upcoming school year.
Job Duties :
- Treat language, speech, swallowing, and communication disorders to k-high school grade students at one or more school sites
- The SLP will provide therapy, manage caseloads, goals, SEIS, schedule and attend IEP meetings onsite for each of their students
- This full time contract position is around eighteen hours per week
- The position is for the full school year ending in June
- The SLP will work with students with various disabilities
- Specific caseload includes articulation / fluency issues, students with ASD / developmental delay, and stuttering.
Job Requirements :
- The SLP must have prior school or pediatric experience
- The SLP must have their Connecticut Speech Language Pathologist License
- Previous experience with AAC devices (highly preferred)
- Previous experience with contract positions (preferred)
