AWS Cloud Engineer

We are looking for a skilled AWS Cloud Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) and a solid background in Infrastructure as a Service.

As an AWS Cloud Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting our AWS cloud Infrastructure as a Service to ensure high performance, security, and scalability.

Responsibilities :

• P rovide technical support and troubleshooting for AWS network issues to ensure high performance, security, and scalability.
• Configure and manage VPCs, subnets, route tables, NAT gateways, and security groups.
• Operationally support AWS networking services such as ELB, Direct Connect, and Transit Gateway
• Implement including network ACLs, security groups on request from Network Engineering teams.
• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to maintain optimal performance.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts using Lambda, Python for repeated tasks.
• Collaborate with DevOps, Security, and Development teams to support cloud-based applications and services.
• Stay updated with the latest AWS networking technologies, trends, and best practices.
• Identify opportunities to improve system and application performance, including automating manual system tasks.
• Participate in change management and related meetings to identify systems issues. Presents project initiatives and metrics.

Creates ad hoc reports of significant system trends, including problem occurrences and responses.

• Participate in on-call responsibilities.
• Participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications :

• Experience in architecting a reusable platform to automate manual operational tasks by using Lambda, Step Function, & python / PowerShell scripts.
• Deployment of applications and services into AWS using a variety of automation tools such as Cloud formation, Puppet and Cloud provider API's using CI / CD in Bitbucket / Bamboo or GitHub
• Deployment experience with AWS Cloud compute platforms such as ECS, EKS, and FaaS.
• Development & troubleshooting skills to Build and Deploy Application in Cloud
• Understanding of monitoring solutions (Grafana, Splunk, Tableau, SNOW)
• Experience of Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery (GITHUB) practices
• Proficiency in diagnosing and fixing technical issues.
• Effective communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to provide technical help, both written and verbal.
• Strong interpersonal skills must be a standout colleague.
• Ability to work independently on short-term tasks.
• Self-motivated with attention to detail.
• Minimum of five years related work experience.
• Undergraduate degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
