job_description.job_card.job_description1-3 years clinical experience in an outpatient setting Patient-centered approach Excellent communication skills Interest in Population Health Examines and diagnoses disorders and diseases of the musculoskeletal system and immune system Consults with patients to determine the appropriate course of treatment Recommends and orders tests to determine extent of illness or help diagnose condition Diagnoses and treats rheumatic disorders of the skeletal system, muscles and joints. Treats patients with a broad range of rheumatic diseases, such as lupus, tendonitis, arthritis, myositis, scleroderma conditions. Examines the patients, obtains lab reports including the X-ray reports of the joints, and prescribes anti-inflammatory drugs and other medications. Suggests occupational or physical therapy to patients suffering from arthritis or any type of joint disorders. Medical Degree, New York State Medical License Board Certified in Internal Medicine Completion of accredited fellowship in Rheumatology Board Certified or Board Eligible in Rheumatology Ability to successfully interact and communicate with a diversified population Be eligible for DEA registration Be eligible for Medicare / Medicaid reimbursement Pre-employment background check, health physical and drug screening Competitive Base Salary Malpractice Insurance Continuing Medical Education (CME) Reimbursement Medical / Dental / Vision Health Insurance 401K Retirement Plan Incentive Model
