This individual : * Develops and conducts educational programs and clinical instruction for Emory Healthcare staff and students enrolled in Emory University's Wound Ostomy Continence Education Program.

• Provides advanced clinical guidance to physicians and nursing staff regarding the management of complex wounds, fistulas, moisture management, and pressure ulcers.
• Determines appropriate nursing interventions for identified patient problems, symptoms, and teaching needs in respect to wound and ostomy care.
• Recommends the equipment, materials, and resources needed to successfully implement a wound or ostomy care plan.* Performs appropriate pre-operative stoma site marking and ostomy education.
• Develops and conducts post-operative ostomy education and ostomy care plan for the patient and family.Minimum Qualifications : * Must have a valid, active unencumbered Nursing license or temporary permit approved by the Georgia Licensing Board.
• Current Healthcare Provider BLS Certification.* Two years of recent (within the past five years) Registered Nursing experience.
• Completion of an accredited WOC Nursing Education program.* Must achieve certification in Wound Care and Ostomy Care within 12 months.
• Certification in Continence Care is not required, but preferred.* Previous experience in Wound and Ostomy care preferred.
