ABOUT THE ROLE
This position is for the remediation of the existingSSP and baseline backlog of submitting new requests
Ensure that the Commonwealth of Virginias securityrequirements necessary to protect the organizations missions andbusiness processes are adequately addressed in all aspects of thearchitecture including reference models segment and solutionarchitectures and the resulting systems supporting those missionsand business processes while documenting these into a systemsecurity plan.
Abilities
- Ability to apply the methods standards andapproaches for describing analysing and documenting anorganizations security architecture.
- Abilityto apply cybersecurity and privacy principles to organizationalrequirements.
Experiences
- Employ secure configuration managementprocesses.
- Evaluate security architectures anddesigns to determine the adequacy of security design andarchitecture proposed or provided in response to requirementscontained in the acquisition document.
- Knowledge of NIST 80053 rev 5
- Knowledge of System Security Plan creation anddocumentation
- Knowledge of cloudinfrastructure and security for multitenant capabilities
- Knowledge of multilevel security systems and crossdomainsolutions
- Skill in applying and incorporatingcybersecurity requirements into proposed solutions
- Skill to identify cybersecurity and privacy issues thatstem from connections with internal and external customer andpartner organizations
- Experience with Virginiastate government desired. If the candidate has prior VA State govexp it MUST be clearly reflected on their resume.
