Project : Arizona Youth Survey Augmented Research Project

Client : Arizona Criminal Justice Commission (ACJC)

Contract Period : August 4 – October 31, 2025 (~13 weeks)

Commitment : ~30–40 hours / week (0.8–1.0 FTE), near-full-time

Role Summary :

Lead the research design, statistical analysis, and technical execution of the project. Oversee data preparation, perform advanced analyses, synthesize findings with literature, and support preparation of final research briefs.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Develop statistical methodology and research design.
  • Execute data cleaning, modeling, and statistical testing using SPSS, Stata, or R.
  • Interpret quantitative findings and integrate them with literature.
  • Supervise preparation of tables, figures, and reproducible syntax.
  • Advise on policy-relevant recommendations and executive summary framing.
  • Collaborate with Project Manager, Research Associate, and QA.
  • Required Experience :

  • 7–10 years applied research experience in public health, social sciences, education, or juvenile justice.
  • Strong expertise in Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs), youth behavior, or substance use research.
  • Prior work with large survey datasets (e.g., BRFSS, YRBSS, AYS).
  • Proven track record of delivering formal reports or publications for government or nonprofit clients.
  • Familiarity with IRB and data privacy protocols.
  • Required Skills :

  • PhD or advanced Master's (Public Health, Social Sciences, Statistics, Psychology).
  • Strong command of statistical methods (regression, multivariate analysis, group comparisons).
  • Proficiency with SPSS, Stata, or R (required).
  • Excellent writing and synthesis abilities.
  • Contract Requirements :
